Finding inner peace has always been one of my life’s goals. I guess you could say this is the reason why, for the most part, I am a pretty happy individual. I choose to view life with a positive outlook and see the good in people, in things. Why? Because as typical as it may sound life IS short. Unexpected situations happen and changes may occur, but what is most important really comes down to how you deal with the circumstances and how you adapt to change. Some people pass away with regrets, with anger or pain and it is disheartening to know that it was too late for them to change anything, to better themselves, forgive those who have wronged them, or choose to do what was right. This is why I try to reflect on my actions every day and make the most of the time I have with my friends and my family and those who support and care for me.
Life is what He has given to you, but the Question is: Are you truly living?
Take a moment to appreciate who you have in your life and what you have. Finding inner peace may not come over night; it may not even come after a week or months. But just know that everyone deserves to be happy – YOU deserve to be happy – to have no regrets and no pain. So do your best to love over hate and to forgive others, not necessarily because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.
Holding a grudge against someone or keeping your emotions locked up inside you will only hurt no one, but yourself. Allow yourself to be Happy and Forgive not to forget what had happened but to Accept it. Everyone deserves peace so it is about time to allow yourself to have it too!
Happiness is but a smile away! 🙂
